Who will get the Man City vs Liverpool game?

Who do you think will get the huge title deciding game of the
season?
I would like it to go to Michael Oliver personally as I like his
refereeing style and think it may suit the game. Mike Dean and
Martin Atkinson are slowly getting past their peak, while I have
to admit I don't particularly enjoy Anthony Taylor's refereeing
style (as much as he is a top referee). Can't really think of
any other likely candidates after these four, so who are you
going for? (feel free to chuck some other names into the ring!)

It will be Taylor as Oliver has had Liverpool recently

It’s not open to debate… will be Taylor.
Personally, Marriner would have had my vote before he got
Arsenal v Liverpool earlier in March.

I think it will be Taylor. Without checking recent appointments,
I would guess Atkinson is the only other possibility but he's
not had a great season.
It's not a separate thread but as TTFL mentions Marriner,
personally I didn't think AM was at his very best today at OT.
McTominay could have been a RC, but was it a clear and obvious
error? He missed the foul on Varane and VAR (Oliver?) advised an
OFR, correctly in my view. He got hit by the ball a couple of
times as well which was perhaps just unlucky.

Micheal Oliver actually had Man City more recently vs united.
It’s over a month since he last had Liverpool.
I think Oliver will do the league game and Taylor the FA Cup
myself

I'd like Oliver but I think Taylor probably just about the more
likely. I'd think there's a decent chance the other will get the
FA Cup semi between the two.
One possible thing to mention is Bayern Munich V Villareal
Champions League QF on Tues 12th April - the other three QFs
involve English teams so not sure if Taylor/Oliver might referee
that. Of course there's the first leg this Wednesday.

For me Taylor is the obvious choice, especially as his
appointment this game week was Leeds-Southampton, which was not
a big game.

I would have liked to see it go to Mike Dean but the appointing
powers see everything through Anthony Taylor tinted spectacles
and so I expect it will be him.

I can’t think of a safer pair of hands than Andre Marriner. I’d
be glad to see him on the game. No idea if he has reffed either
recently.

I just don’t want a referee with either Liverpool or Manchester
connections. It would be unfair pressure on him in such an
important match.
