Andy Davies' recent performance at Ipswich was probably the best
I have seen from him and certainly crept into the realms of
adequacy.

Think that creeps into the realms of damning with faint
praise-probably intended.

6/10 seen a lot worse and seen a few better , a bit pedantic and
clearly thought we were all there to see him . Bang average for
me.

Another 6/10, this time for Andy Haines at Crewe v Wycombe. 1st
half was OK, but he seemed to lose the plot a bit when things
started to get tetchy in the 2nd. My main gripe was about the
amount of time which Wycombe wasted and which went largely
unchallenged by Andy. OK, two lengthy stoppages for head
injuries led to 11 minutes of added time, but that was only half
the story, and how the Wycombe goalie got away without being
cautioned for time wasting, I do not know. Two odd incidents,
one when both ARs were waving their flags at the same time, one
for offside and the other for ball out of play. Andy chose to
restart with a throw-in. The other came in the 2nd half when
play was held up (yet again) for two Wycombe players to swop
shirts. It seemed that they had put on each other's shirts in
the dressing room resulting in the players having the wrong
names and numbers on the backs of their shirts. Possibly Andy's
last visit to Gresty Road and certainly his last visit in L1 the
way things are going at Crewe, and I've seen better.
