Keith Stroud - Cov v Preston

Only seen the highlights of this game, and Stroud has got the
red cards and the penalty call spot on. But have you seen his
stance whilst waiting for the pen to be taken? He looks like a
dad waiting to start the 100m in the parents race at sports day!
I was more concentrated on him than the actual penalty
🤣 I wish I was technologically savvy enough to put a
clip on here but alas I’m not
Although this isn’t going to cause me to lose any sleep, does he
really have to try so hard to be in the spotlight all the time?
He just screams ‘attention seeker’ to me. What happened to the
old adage that the best refs were the ones that go unnoticed? I
know Mike Dean can be a tad eccentric at times, but he’s got the
talent to back it up. Stroud hasn’t.

I always used to find Stroud kissing the ball as he came out of
the tunnel a bit cringeworthy

I was at this game and was struck by his stance at the time but
he had a good game all round and remained calm when having to
put up with a number of pitch invasions from moronic
individuals. Despite Ryan Lowe's complaints afterwards the
stoppage time allowance (and extension) were fully justified.
