new rumour on bobby madley leaving pgmol

i have heard that the real reason madley left was that he did
not leave he was sacked below is the news item courtesy of sky
sports
Premier League referee Bobby Madley was sacked after sending an
inappropriate message on social media featuring a picture of a
disabled man, Sky Sports News understands.
It is understood the Snapchat message suggested the 32-year old
would be able to win a race against the disabled man on a school
sports day.
After the image was seen by the Professional Game Match
Officials Limited, he was informed that his contract would be
terminated.
It is understood Madley is presently relocating to Norway and,
if selected, he will be able to continue working as a
professional match official.
The Premier League have told Sky Sports News: "Bobby Madley is
no longer employed by PGMOL.
"We understand he has decided to relocate due to a change in his
personal circumstances."
Madley had officiated 91 matches in the Premier League since
2013 and also took charge of last season's Community Shield at
Wembley.

More than a rumour then?
I can understand that as a reason for Bobby's sudden departure
from English football, rather more than just wanting to relocate
to Norway or being fed up with criticism in the media.

If the allegations are indeed true then his career in refereeing
should be over in all countries. They had clearly invested a lot
in him and he was destined for huge things, making it all the
more stupid that he has thrown away his career!
I wonder what the PGMOL are going to do now? SG1 refs are
already stretched to breaking point!

Well I personally hope this means a promotion for Andy Madley,
to take his brothers place, Don't know how he's not there
already.

I suppose the truth was bound to come out sooner or later. You
just cannot understand how someone in his position could be so
stupid as to throw away a promising career like he had, having
done the really hard part in actually getting on to the Select
Group and FIFA too. I guess we all make mistakes but anyone
with half a brain would surely know that these days comments
like that are just not acceptable by anyone, let alone by those
in the public eye.

If one of you - I can't remember who or I'd pm you, notices your
post missing that's my fault, new layout & I clicked the wrong
"remove" when removing a post - they were at the bottom on the
old forum not the top. There is no undo button for it either!

I think it’s my post about working with diabled folk and
admiring their dignity in contrast to Madley’s crass and
insensitive comments. No offence taken bmb, honestly!
