       Ah, but just think of the ignominy of being named and shamed on
       the Ayr Advertiser website - they will not live that down in a

       I suspect every single player on the pitch earns triple that in
       a week.  Fines will only work if they are hundreds of thousands
       or even millions.

       Forget fines, dock points. Fines are irrelevant to players, it's
       not them that pay the fines anyway. The consequences should to
       have a direct impact on those responsible for the behaviour,
       players would soon learn to behave if they cost their team
       points by not doing so.

       AFCB seem to have paid a lot of fines recently… must be the
       southern air down there which incites all these brawls lol.
