This isn’t good at all. With the rising cases I’m sure it’s now
time for a few stark exchanges between clubs, the PL, EFL and
the FA about postponing for a few weeks and extend the season
past May like last season.
This seems very reasonable considering the havoc this new
blooming variant has caused.
Thoughts?

Now only half of this weekend's PL matches are due to go ahead.

Then there is the problem of ending this season plus starting
the new season while trying to fit in next year's World Cup in
November.

Only two games remain for Saturday.
Everton has gone on Sunday too.

Thanks. I had already scratched out the Everton game. 50% of
games gone in the PL. Not good at all.

The testing in the Football League is less prevalent so god
knows what will happen there if cases are missed.
