Even though it was reported earlier today that the Premier
league had said they will turn down all requests to call off
games

No doubt Burnley will get the blame as they did the other week
when the weather turned nasty. We do get used to it though

The BBC reporter said that he had had a briefing with a senior
member of the Burnley management at 4pm and they were apparently
looking forward to the game at the time. Yet, by 4.45pm, the
game had been called off. I don't know what that was about but
it seems that Burnley may have been blameless, as they were with
the weather. As you say though, broad shoulders are needed in
this game!
