Pawson and Attwell- West Ham v Liverpool

Nothing wrong with the goal personally Allison just isn’t strong
enough. However how Cresswell wasn’t sent off is beyond me he
was almost knee high. Also with the red card in the Everton game
earlier today for Holgate being almost exactly the same
challenge there’s no consistency

Totally agree. Poor from the goalkeeper and no get-out-of-jail
card because he wasn’t impeded.
I do not understand how two SG1 referees can’t see that Creswell
is not in control and it endangers an opponent. Truly baffling.

Ill give them spme slack om the red card, although I think it
deserved one.
But how on earth does a SG1 referee in a good position in real
time with an assistant only 10yds away not even give a free
kick

Attwell is usually a very good VAR. I thought it was a very
nasty challenge live, but the reply shows its a shocking tackle.
Very poor for neither of them to give it

Why on earth would you “give some slack” for a blatantly
incorrect decision? It’s not a trivial matter, it’s serious foul
play. I guarantee if I’d cut the same slack in my Supply League
game yesterday the Observer wouldn’t have agreed.

With the WH goal, surprised there wasn’t a lengthier check on
offside as the player came from an offside position.
The tackle, well, Craig Pawson.
To sum his afternoon up - he gave a handball against Bowen when
it was in the middle of his chest.

Now, can someone explain how Antonio isn’t classed as being
offside for WH 2nd goal?
He stops Van Dijk from getting across to the goal scorer.

A below par display from Craig Pawson and VAR.. A red card for
Cresswell in my view and the second West Ham goal as already
stated is offside... Poor stuff

I tend to agree Attwell is usually good as var but that is three
games on the trot now he hasnt impressed.
Last sun Hause of Villa shd have seen red for a forearm smash on
a w ham player which he didnt deem violent conduct, at least he
got the Konsa red right.
Fri night he doesnt deem a shirt pull on mings from an attacking
to be a penalty.
Today he doesnt deem a the nasty out of control challenge by
cresswell to be a red card.
It seems to me that quite a lot of sg1 officials dont seem to be
able to see sfp on the field anymore, a worrying trend.

Let’s be right, Liverpool were awful and West Ham fully deserved
their win.
However, how two SG1 referees can look at that challenge and
determine it’s not a red card is beyond me!!
