Or Brooks? Tells a story about the underuse of these 3 when
referee12 quite legitimately has forgotten that Brooks was also
promoted.

John Brooks has been trusted to sit in front on a TV screen for
the first time this season at the weekend. Strange considering
that he has had some previous experience of this role in the
early days of VAR.

Definitely no need for any apology - you may have solved the
mystery; perhaps the person responsible for the appointments has
also forgotten who has been promoted.

Whenever I was lucky enough to get promotion I could not wait to
get out there, knowing I would make mistakes and learn. To have
been held back on the sidelines would just have made me more
nervous about doing that first game.
The joys of years gone by when we got fixtures monthly meant you
always knew when your next game was (and some instances a
perfect chance to get back on the bike having crashed)
