Yes, Oliver in Europe Wednesday and then a 12.30 k.o. Saturday
for the Manchester derby. Taylor has a Thursday evening game
but just 4o duties at Everton on Sunday. I thought it might be
Atkinson, Marriner or Dean for OT but haven't checked their
recent involvement with either team.
It looks like Atkinson just has 2 x 4o duties and Dean a VAR.

Manchester Derby.
Jarred with his second game, happy with that but think the other
newbies need one considering its week 11 and they still haven't
got one!

Yes, good to see Madley getting another live game, and
Gillett/England with games. Oliver seems a good choice for derby
- he last refereed Man Utd on 2nd October and this is 6th
November so I don't think there's any issue. Atkinson/Marriner
have both refereed Man City since international break.
Has Taylor done any VAR duties this season? He never really
seems to be used in that role any more. Brooks with his first
VAR appointment of the season, but Harrington/Salsbury haven't
had once yet. Brooks was used as VAR when it was first
introduced in 2019 though.
In terms of the promoted referees, I'm pretty convinced now that
there must have been some sort of private plan/agreement between
the PGMO and the officials along the lines of 'We'll promote you
right now so you get the contractual benefits and training
opportunities that SG1 offers but we're looking to develop you
towards refereeing regular PL games in 22/23'. They might well
get some games over the busy Christmas period but at this stage
I'm not sure we should really be surprised if they're not
appearing amongst the PL appointments.

Attwell has VAR duties Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Sunday.
He's going to end up with square eyes!!! Seriously though
surely someone else could have been VAR on Friday after 2 x UEFA
duties mid-week

I was really hoping that they would have thought a little out of
the box and given Marriner the Manchester derby, he is on top
form at the moment but Oliver I'm sure will do his usual good
job.
Good games for Kavanagh, Friend and Pawson.
Gillett with his second game before any of the other SG1
referees get their first. I think between this and Gillett's VAR
appointments he is considered a more 'full' SG member compared
to the other three. It is really getting farcical now that they
haven't been appointed.
