       This official never got beyond Supply (Hellenic) League status,
       but nevertheless some of you might have known him :-

       The blue badge is the Hellenic League Referees and Linesman's
       Association ; the black badge is the Berks & Bucks FA. He lived
       in Abingdon, which moved to Oxfordshire in the local government
       re-organisation of 1974, but which remains under the auspices of
       the Berks & Bucks FA for footballing purposes.
       He served on the committee of the Oxford City Branch of the
       Referees' Association in the late 1980s.
