Paul Tierney - Liverpool vs. Fulham

I would expect Tierney to be 'marked down' after this, two clear
mistakes in law for me and another two potentially serious
errors.
- Fulham's disallowed goal for offside was potentially an error
by the AR, very, very difficult call to make and why VAR would
be helpful
- Liverpool's quick restart with a rolling ball, leading to
their goal was a clear mistake and they should've been made to
retake it
- Gomez cynical pull-back on Mitrovic was a nailed on YC
everyday, it has to be a YC, doesn't it?
- Chambers tackle on Salah should have been a RC for SFP. Both
feet were momentarily off the floor/out of control.

Some real dross this afternoon at Anfield, most notably the
disallowed Mitrovic goal....
As my learn'd fellow fan pointed out, other decisions were
clearly wrong, and for a FIFA official to get these fairly
routine decisions wrong is not good.

I think you're overusing the word dross - the offside goal was a
very, very tight decision.

I think you're overusing the word dross - the offside goal was a
very, very tight decision.

The dross comment was aimed at the overall performance not just
the one major talking point..

Well off side decision was verytight but as shown on MOTD was
correct. would be nice if some of you guys could recognise when
you got it wrong and officials had a good day . hope you can be
a bit more gracious in future when proven to be wrong
