From what i am hearing the media are hot on this with a load of
City fans quoted slamming his appointment. Just wonder what the
back pages will make of it tomorrow.
My personal opinion is that he is by no means our best referee
on this seasons evidence- and surely they should be looking to
give this game to that official, but this is a row not about
Ability but Georgraphy.

I wasn't aware that Man Utd fans were uninspired by Mr Taylor
too. If I could pick one official never to officiate in a City
game again, it would be this man. While his nadir was the City v
Chelsea game, where his apparent failure to protect Aguero, led
to the striker losing his rag and lunging at Luiz, with the
inevitable red card to follow, I can't think of any City games
where he's been in the middle where a key decision has favoured
City. Can only hope that we're talikng about the football and
not Mr Taylor this Sunday night.

But that's not how refereeing works is it? Referees go out on a
Saturday or Sunday and referee the game as they see it calling
each decision from their angle/position. Just because you have
never had a decision in your favour, doesn't mean that
particular referee is biased or going against your team.
Whilst you may argue that there are better referees at making
these decisions, and I would agree there is, using that as an
excuse to not like a referee and "not moving on" or forgetting
about it, just infers bitterness! which i'm sure you're not!

He's a FIFA elite level referee, he can therefore officiate any
Champions League game or any elite International match
worldwide.
