       Sándor Petri has been cooperating with state security since 1959
       under the pseudonym “János Szegedi” and “Gábor Pogány”, but the
       archival data show that he was deconspired in 1962, so they were
       forced to be excluded from the network. Reports for this period
       did not survive because they were destroyed according to the
       registry. Nevertheless, he was reactivated in 1965 to carry out
       a task related to a decision of the Central Committee and
       continued to work under the pseudonym “Károly Szász”. The first
       report in his file was signed under the pseudonym “Gábor
       Pogány”, although at that time the Pest County Police
       Headquarters III / III-2 was already under his pseudonym.
