Is this the first time Kavanagh will be involved in a game
involving one of the Manchester clubs? I seem to remember the
question being asked previously as to whether he would be able
to officiate City/United or not.
I think Probert is a good appointment at Cardiff for what I'm
sure will be a very emotional day for everyone involved with
Leicester City - I certainly think he's someone who's able to
referee with experience and empathy.
Good to see Tierney with a TV game. He seems to have had a
strange sort of season - I'd guess he's only been used on
Premier League games 50% of the time but this is his third live
game of the season and they've all featured one of the 'big 6'
away from home.

Not quite, this one is at Dean Court ;D
Oliver taking charge of Palace for the third time (same number
as he has Liverpool). No appearance from Atkinson means Taylor
has the only 100% appearance record remaining.

Mr Mason again, second time in 3 home games, unimaginative
appointment. Hoping they are not saving Altrincham Ant to
inflict on us in the Manc derby.
Mr Kavanagh was also 4O in a previous City game, maybe the last
one v Burnley. It was reported on the predecessor site that he
supported a non-league team, maybe Stalybridge or one of the
Ashton sides?

He’s from Ashton, which belongs to Oldham, so there isn’t a
really a problem.

Wrong Ashton belongs to tameside which belongs to Manchester. He
is a Manchester fa official and supports Stalybridge Celtic. He
shouldn’t be able to do either side due to proximity and
relationship with Manchester fa which he used to run
