Thanks for this second part. I have just had a quick look after
watching the Super League and the follwoing came to mind:-
1. Newquay
4. St Andrews
5. Looe
6. Southend
9. Eyemouth
12. Paignton
13. Cowes
15. Amble!!
18. Sheringham
19. Watchet
I shall have another look tomorrow when others have had the
chance.

I shall have to disallow Lewes, as it does not quite meet the
coastal requirement, while Lewis, though undoubtedly largely
sea-girt, is not a town or village.
Perhaps sidekick is not the mot juste; friend, associate or
companion might have been better.

A further three correct, Ashington, but your offer of Brighton
is somewhat rocky. In this case, though not always, the
exclamation mark in the clue is relevant.

Yes to all three - that's why I ruled out Poole Pottery in
favour of Hornsea earlier.
