       J MOSS - Fulham v Wolves

Well Big Brother has stepped in to rule out Jose’s header for
       offside.
       As a Fulham fan, phew.
However it’s scandalous that a goal like that is ruled out for
literally the thickness of a sleeve.
This has to be reviewed by the powers that be when looking at
       the laws of offside soon.

       .... sickening ending..... :-(
However that was a superb advantage played by Moss at the end.
No complaints with his performance this evening at all.

That’s good to hear. I feel he often gets unfairly criticised on
here with some folk grasping at any opportunity to slag him off
for the smallest of points. I personally think he has had a
decent season overall but sad that some will refuse to publicly
       admit it.

Not a hard game to referee but again a match ruined by the sheer
disgraceful incompetence of VAR. whatever happened to a player
being level?? Luckily didn’t have an impact on the game in the
       end!

Never offside in a million years...............sick of saying it
, but VAR is destroying football

Not a fan of Moss usually but no complaints here, whilst it
wasn't a difficult match to ref, he got more or less everything
right. The VAR debate is something else, where do you draw the
line at what is offside, the precise line like last night, some
arbitrary buffer zone to allow for margin of error, or give up
       completely?

Go back to letting AR's do what they did correctly about 98% of
       the time!

       What a very sensible solution

My apologies to the ivory towers for daring to suggest a common
sense solution, it'll never catch on!
If it aint broke don't try to fix it! That aspect was not
broken, they tried to fix it & boy did they ever break it in
doing so. There was an occasional wrong call but I think we
could all live with them, especially now having seen VAR in
action!! I think we, outside of the ivory towers at least, all
agree that VAR should be used to fix the missed penalties &
reds/the wrongly given penalties & reds - those situations where
a referees split second view from not always the best of angles
or happens on their blindside, leads them to call one wrong, a
game changing wrong call that can be fixed. This balony though
about being offside because your sleeve has flapped forwards or
you've not trimmed your toenails pre match is too much. If it
can't be seen without having to zoom in, slow it down and add a
drawing akin to an architectural blueprint on top to work out if
it's 0.0001mm on or offside then for the love of football leave
it to the naked eye view of the ARs, who did a pretty fine job
       over all.
Off to have another cry now that VAR is coming to my beautiful
       NBI next season [emoji24]

To be fair, the 98% includes all the very easy ones. There were
plenty of mistakes with the tricky ones.
