bloody hell!!! hooper has finally got a prem game at last way
overdue in my opinion
glad they gave England a game again way overdue
shame jones can't get himself in prem contention instead of
being either 4th official var or in championship

Never a red card for Leeds in a million years. Cooper plays the
ball and there is an inevitable contact with the follow through.
Terrible decision from VAR!

I cannot help but agree. Its similar to Luke Shaw v Burnley.
Marinner made an excellent decision to only award a yellow.

I have to disagree with you here, even though he has got the
ball the studs from the follow through is way too high so has to
be a red card

Shaw same thing v Burnley and yellow. Needs to be more
consistent and a marker needs to be lay down. It either is or
isn't. IMO it needs to be a yellow as players won't tackle if
its a red

Hes been out of PL action since Man City Wolves on March 2nd
with Covid/ Covid close contact. He has only refereed one game
since his return which was in the Championship. All I am saying
is that it wasn't exactly Mike Rileys best idea throwing him
into such a big game having not refereed in the PL for 6 weeks
and only 1 game in the last 5 weeks! On any other day I'd say he
deserves it but at the moment there are better options (Attwell,
Moss, Taylor, Oliver) edited to fix quote-hertsref

I think we wont get him at all this season... I wonder if there
has been a similar precedent where an official hasnt refereed a
side, despite there being no reason such a location or
supporting the team being a factor??
