Antony Coggins - Lincoln City v Rochdale

Antony Coggins is a referee who never gets a mention on here, so
i thought I'd share this remarkable non-penalty decision from
him today.
Fortunately, it didn't prove crucial!

I wonder if there had been VAR, would they have considered it a
clear and obvious error??? ???

TOT-DZG match.

I remember Mr Coggins awarding Chester a penalty against TRFC in
his NL days, where it was arguably a dive, but the incident most
definitely took place outside the penalty area. Penalties are
not his strong point :)

Well not on these occasions, but we've won 3/3 with him in
charge, so it's not all bad!

Didn’t he have a trial game in SG2 last year? I don’t recall him
having a bad game but he doesn’t seem to have kicked on from
there.

Just love RTR. Nobody mentions him so we will find a decision
which he’s made a mistake and post it. Obviously doing well
otherwise but nobody mentions the positive games and decisions.
RTR never fails to amaze

Between ref and AR, they have to get that right. Of course we
dont know what, if anything, was said by AR but if ref and AR
between them say that is not a penalty, then they are both as
guilty as each other
