A little surprised to see Jon Moss get another chance to ref a
big game. But I am confused that Peter Bankes has var job in two
vital games this week and so many appointments in the last few
weeks whilst A Madley imo the better referee could only got 2 4o
this week and less appointments before despite the fact that he
was promoted to Fifa list a year earlier than Bankes. How could
he feel about that...

With regards to Madley and Bankes - I would say appointments
wise they are roughly on a par. They've had the same number of
games in the middle, and both starting to take charge of the top
teams in league and cup games. I wouldn't read too much into
Bankes being VAR and Madley being 4th.

I would argue that Liverpool v Everton is a far bigger game at
any point than Arsenal v City and there’s more riding on it as
well

Happy with Atkinson for our game... excellent game for Kavanagh
and great to see the card shark back at Burnley..
Dumping Mason into the FL on a massive game is an interesting
choice....

Sorry, you may not have seances a touch of tongue in cheek in my
comment given the recent demise of the Merseyside teams
(especially Liverpool) after some talk not too long ago of a top
of the table clash
