Shocking stuff... Barnsley have been absolutely robbed....
surely that's clearly offside.

The other problem wth the offside rule is that Abraham was ahead
of all the defenders on the initial pass so he has then got a
head start on those defenders when the ball is crossed a couple
of seconds later.

You sure? At least ten?
Six max. Massey is in line with the pen spot, the goal and
pass are 7 yards from goal....try 5 yards, I will give you 6
Still out of position, badly
But at least ten, is just not true.

it was played across by james.

Exactly and that is all that mattered and I wanted Barnsley to
win.
Good to see proper football played on a proper pitch and well
refereed by Martin Atkinson without the encumberment of lots of
slowed down replays of what may or may not have been. Football
is played at pace whether it is Premier League, FA Cup or Under
10s and the officials cope well when left to do their job.
Well played Barnsley and hard luck, it could have been so
different if they had taken the golden chance in the first half.

It's a good job that someone less proficient than Ms
Massey-Ellis wasn't on the line this evening or else Chelsea
would have been robbed.

So according to this thread, he was 10 yards offside, 6 yards
offside, level and now behind the ball.

They were already robbed with the penalty they weren't given for
the foul on Abraham.
