I think this is the earliest red card from the card shark in his
career.. 1 min 15 secs.
Terrible challenge by Jankewitz..... deserved the red.

Either that or the Nottingham Forest vs Swansea in the play offs
(2011 ?). That was also for a deserved serious foul play.

He also gave a red card after 3 mins for a horror tackle on
Eduardo in Birmingham-Arsenal in 2008
Always said that Dean is the best at detecting SFP in the
Premier League and he shows it once again. Don't think there's a
better decision maker for big incidents than him

Thoughts on the VAR overturned penalty on Cavani by Ramsey?
Grandad Walton said penalty, VAR says outside the box. It looks
like VAR gave the FK as the contact was outside the box despite
the foot on the line.
As for Robbie Savage.. usual bile from him when commentating.

So Graham Scott has decided that Cavani who was clearly fouled
on the line that it was outside... what game is this man
watching? He makes up his own laws as he goes along and
obviously doesn’t know how the watch a replay as we saw with his
tripe in Brighton v Spurs earlier in the season.

Shame mike Dean blew for the foul on Cavani just before Half
Time if he had waited a couple of seconds he could have allowed
the goal
That said what are your thoughts on VAR Graham Scott deeming it
a FK personally I think it was wrong and should have been a
penalty

Well for what it’s worth. I thought the challenge was before the
line and Scott got it right. Also proves that whilst Dean is
good. He gets things wrong too. The only good think was once
again Savage is wrong and should be sacked immediately 😉

His toes are on the line, but the foul was on his ankle. So I
think it was correct to be overruled, but I'm sure someone can
confirm the current actual law.
