Middlesbrough v Blackburn - Dean Whitestone

Words fail me as to how a peanlty and red card not given.
Cross comes in the 6ft centre half heads the ball the defender
then with a straight leg kicks into the face of the player.
The player gets a serious looking injury, nothing given by the
referee who had a clear view from 20yds or so.

Its one where reaction of players around didnt help the ref,
dont think many realised how bad it was. Anywhere else on the
park its a foul, regardless of the "attempt" at goal

Yep poor decision from Dean who will be disappointed he called
it wrong. But how many times has he been mentioned on here?
ID have him refereeing my game over 3/4 of other SG2 refs every
day of the week

Poor decision without a doubt.
Wishing the injured lad, Fry (?) a speedy recovery. Never nice
as a football fan, whoever you support, to see an injury like on
the pitch.

I thought that incident aside Whitestone had a great game didn’t
fall for the theatrics and actually allows contact to be made
