Peter Bankes : Fulham vs Chelsea

A impressive performance from Bankes who imo seems to be
establishing himself and settled in very well RC was correct and
gave himself thinking time

Fully agree, very good performance in my opinion. I thought the
red card was correct as well as all the yellow cards I saw. He
has a good sprint speed too and good acceleration.
I hope he is given a top game before the end of the season

I thought Peter was excellent - I cannot understand why Jamie
Redknapp is saying Robinson should have had a yellow, it was
reckless and out of control and a clear red card.
I am not sure a big game will come his way, due to him being
from Liverpool. I am not sure who he supports, but if he is a
Liverpool fan, that is going to count him out of a lot of big
games on that basis.
Incidentally, still no sign of a FIFA badge of him either.

Rumours were the shipment was diverted to Dorset where they were
being looked after, only being awarded once totty status was
achieved

He was clearly out of control with the tackle, so it was
excessive force IMO.

The process from Bankes here seemed much better than the
Brighton V Sheffield United game a few weeks ago. Good to see
him learning from that experience and improving.
I agree he's settled in well.

No complaints about the red, can just about see why some think a
yellow may have sufficed but my gut instinct seeing in live at
full speed was red.
I'm surprised no-one has mentioned the incident where Giroud
appeared to slap Reed round the head knocking him to the ground,
pretty much under the refs nose (where was VAR?) and
Decadova-Reid has then won the ball with a sliding tackle only
to penalised and given a yellow

Agree - I also thought the decision to book Reid was not harsh
but plain wrong !
