Offside ?? Haven’t seen any evidence to prove he was offside.
Sissoko’s foot was hidden from the cameras - should have given
it.
Red was correct though

Sadly, ajb, we don't need evidence because it is not our
decision to make. VAR says he was offside by a kneecap and VAR
is always correct, in the opinion of the operator! He tells the
onfield officials what their decision should be and they have to
go along with it in the case of offside.
The red was correct when viewed in slow motion, however, in real
time was very difficult to spot. Nasty gashes on the shin but
could have been worse.

It was difficult to spot because of the camera angle. I missed
it in real time too. From side on to the challenge it would
have been very obvious and that is the angle the referee should
be obtaining. Without VAR I would hope for some input from AR2
if the referee missed it. VAR worked well in this case. This
incident aside I thought it was the usual good performance from
Mike Dean.

For the life of me I can't see how that can be given as offside
for certain
