       He has his critics but what he had to do he did with the minimum
       of fuss stayed in the background let the game flow and played
       some good advantages a good day at the office by Hooper and his
       team

       Yes not a difficult game, but that was largely down to Hooper's
       good handling.  I see Moyes has moaned about an incontestable
       decision with Brighton's second goal - "It definitely hits his
       arm," Moyes told BBC Radio 5 Live.  "Unless you tell me the
       rules have changed, I think anything hitting the arm and leading
       to a goal should be chopped off."
       Was he watching a different incident!?  Clearly hits the stomach
       and there is no proof it hit any part of the arm!  Moyes will
       find a way to moan at anything!  Did he moan at Benteke's
       sending-off against them 2 weeks ago, or Villa's last-gasp
       equaliser being ruled out against them 4 weeks ago when Watkins'
       arm was offside.
       When it's contentious I understand the managers' grievances, VAR
       is a nightmare and its use even worse.  But this is not a
       handball, you cannot rule that out!

       I politely disagree.
       It definitely hit his arm after hitting his chest - watch it
       back again. The laws are quite strict on this one, if it hits
       your hand/arm in any way directly before a lead-up to a goal,
       then it should be ruled out. Doesn't matter if it seems harsh or
       not, they unfortunately are the current laws of the game and
       have been applied this way for the last season or so.
       I think it should have been disallowed and VAR has made a
       mistake. All similar instances of this have been disallowed up
       to now, so was very surprised when I saw the goal given.

       It did hit his arm but the original footage I saw live was
       inconclusive and the goal had to be allowed based on this -
       unless VAR had the footage SKY produced later. What VAR was able
       to see immediately after the game and what tools they had
       available we may not know so I would defend the decision as
       there was not clear evidence to overrule the decision albeit
       wrong in law once the Sky looking glass went to work. Mr Hooper
       appears to be one of those referees who keeps under the radar
       doing his job without fuss.

       Moyes is a bit like you on here - you’re always moaning about
       decisions against your beloved team if if they prove to be
       correct...  😅🤷‍♀️
