According to a report of Falmouth v Oxford in the FA Cup in the
Daily Mirror for 5/11/62, S Yates of Bristol (by then a full
list ref) was called Stan, but I haven't confirmed that
independently.

Thank you OE, I now see I had him as Stan on my list of full
refs but had not linked that to the new list of lines!!

John - I’m having no luck whatsoever in locating the name of Mr
Hunt. I have located several programmes but they only list him
as J Hunt. The local archives have no records nor do the county
archives/
I have a list of people interred at Glossop cemetery and there
are a few hunts on there so will have a look through and see if
any match the timeframe he would have been on the list
