Do we have the appointments for the final at Ashton Gate on 20th
June?
Last year they also had a reserve assistant, so five in all

Congratulations to Mather and team - a sure sign he will be
stepping up to the EFL list! Possibly Woods could join him - and
after this match we might finally get the promotion list!

Congratulations to Simon, joins an illustrious list.
Will be interesting, given discussion above, as to who the Top 5
are and is Woods 2nd or 6th?

No surprise that Simon Mather gets the final and I had Martin
Woods on my list of promotion possibles. No reserve assistant
appointed though? A bit surprising with what's at stake.

Congratulations to all those who have been involved so far,
fingers crossed for some more positive news in the weeks to come
in addition to the AR's already promoted.

Dreadful decision on 8 mins to disallow a perfectly legitimate
Torquay goal , clearly onside and no foul visible . And this guy
is set for national list ?
[/quote]
Baffling, the attacker clearly reaches the ball first.

Only seen last ten minutes of the game, with Torquay one down
and going into six minutes of injury time, failed to send off
Torquay player for 2nd yellow, when he showed clear dissent by
slamming the ball down when decision went against him, only for
Torquay's goalkeeper to equalise with two minutes left ala
Becker. Extra time could be interesting.

There was a very silly push at the far post, and as the pundits
said at half time when looked at from the referee's angle it
looked a lot worse. It wasn't on the defender challenging the
goal scorer, but that doesn't really matter, don't do that
totally unnecessary push and the goal stands.
Second disallowed Torquay goal was more clear cut, the attacker
clearly had his arm over the keeper's shoulder and that is
always getting given as a foul if seen.
What a game, and what an ending to the 90 minutes ...!
