Utter confusion.
Everton play the ball in to the middle, hits the defender on the
back of the head as he is falling away. Bounces back into 6 yard
box where Everton player comes from offside position and back
heels it in.
DC has flag up for offside. Simon Hooper has said it’s a
deliberate play (hitting the back of his head while falling
away) and that the goal stands.
Even VAR can’t get it right 😂

I would completely disagree with "utter confusion". I think it
was quite calm and clear what was happening, VAR reviewed the
incident and correctly awarded the goal.

Everyone knows my dislike of VAR, however, it would have been a
travesty if that goal had been ruled out.

He may have been in the wrong for the goal (imo understandable
mistake) but great spot by Darren Cann for the red card, great
example of a good trailing eye instead of following play
straight away, still one of the best in the twilight of his
career.
Red for Bilić from my understanding is correct in the time
of coronavirus when (I think?) there are restrictions to
when/where mangers can speak to referees. Furthermore Dean
instructed him to go away at least 3 times and he persisted

Yes, I really don't see where the discussion is.
Walton not very clear as usula but nothing new there and nothing
to do with the match officials.

Correct to send off Gibbs but to send off Bilic was wrong IMO He
wasn't aggressive, didnt swear was just asking questions which
as a manger surly he has a right to do.
