       On the old forum I had a query in relation to Iorwerth Price
       Jones and matches he refereed (or may not have) in European club
       competition.

       To summarise there are twelve matches which are attributed to
       Jones (Wales) between 1967-68 and 1974-75.
       We established Iorwerth Jones was a Football League referee
       between 1966-67 and 1974-75, which fitted in nicely with the
       above time frame.  We also had confirmation of a Ronald Jones
       who wasn’t a Footaball League referee until 1975-76 although he
       had been a suplimentory referee in the two seasons prior to
       this.
       UEFA make no distinction in their records between I.P. Jones and
       R. Jones and just have Jones.
       In conclusion I felt that all twelve matches should be
       attributed to Iorwerth.  However, I am now not quite sure.
       I have come across a picture of the officials for the European
       Cup quarter final match between Vorwärts Berlin and Feyenoord
       (04/03/1970).
