The biggest match of the round, for political reasons, goes to
Sjöberg (SWE). Both Dutch officials make their debut.

Any news on the UEFA referees committee edy? They usually have a
shake up of the members around this time IIRC?

I believe UEFA bodies change every four years. Don't think the
committee will be altered until 2023 - barring any retirements.

will they put Bratislava through after the game against Klaksvik
       being called off twice?
       [/quote]
It was someone from Bratislava that tested positive with covid
but it appeared that the local authority worked against UEFA in
relation to quarantining all Bratislava's players who UEFA had
cleared because they repeatedly tested negative. It depends
therefore if UEFA decide them to have been unreasonable with
quarantining players they themselves had deemed fit or if they
hold Bratislava responsible due to the physio testing positive
with covid in the first place.
It appears the local authorities claim that one of the reserve
squad who arrived yesterday also tested positive and have now
quarantined a 2nd plane load of Slovaks. Bratislava are
disputing it saying he tested negative prior to flying.
UEFA yet to make a decision but it is likely to be that Klaksvik
are awarded a 3-0 win and will go into the next round.

I wonder if Kavanagh will be in line for elite in a couple of
years... he seems to be accelerating faster than Pawson and
       Attwell have in recent times.
He is certainly due a big derby in the PL soon surely like
       Arsenal v Tottenham etc etc.

I'd imagine he's the next english candidate for elite level,
time seems to have past the likes of pawson, tierney and
attwell, and uefa clearly prefer them in the var role. After
Kavanagh it will probably be Rob Jones.
