Paul Tierney - Bournemouth vs. Tottenham

4 minutes in and already a VAR cock-up. Josh King with a clear
two-handed push on the back of Harry Kane in the box, Tierney
gives nothing, Michael Oliver (the same official who gave 2 big
decisions incorrectly against Spurs last Thursday) also gives
nothing. It is quite staggering. I actually cannot see how
that is not a clear foul, a clear charge in the back!
One wonders what the outcome would have been for Liverpool or
United - how many penalties are they on now out of interest?

I’m lost for words... even with VAR they can’t get it right.
I won’t mention to bmb that Tierney is in YELLOW!

Trying to work out whether that decision against Spurs or the
performance of the entire Spurs team is worse here. Mr Oliver
is once again with Spurs on Sunday in the North London derby,
what exactly are these appointments??? 3 games out of 4 Oliver
either in charge or in the VAR hub for a Spurs game, lost for
words.

I've actually counted the stoppages here, so far there have been
13 minutes unplayed out of 24. So we can expect 13 minutes as
it stands, possibly a new record?

It's lucky the PGMO didn't appoint Oliver to the NLD immediately
following appointing him VAR on a Spurs game...oh wait.

Perhaps someone can clarify this but Sky said something at HT
about Tierney having a clear view of the Kane incident. I
thought they were suggesting Tierney himself had said he had a
clear view. If that is true, I'm not sure how they came by the
information.
Again, a point of clarification. If VAR is there to advise,
presumably they can't insist he looks at the monitor if a
Referee claims he had a clear view and is happy with his
decision. Is that the case?
Oliver and Tierney doesn't seem a happy combination for some
reason.
