Newcastle appear to be considered a bit of a soft touch for
referees. Last season both of the SG2 referees who did trial
games were sent to Newcastle, and now Hooper's first appointment
as an SG1 referee is also at Newcastle.

Yay I'm back. Thanks bmb!
I did wonder if Grandad East would in charge of our match at
Goodison as there seemed to a pattern. Martin Atkinson was 4O
for us at the Etihad, then reffed us at the Cottage whilst East
was 4O for that game. Does that mean we'll be seeing Jeremy
Simpson at the Cottage for Fulham v Arsenal? I very much doubt
it!
Will be interesting to see if Fulham can change a 100+ year
losing record at Goodison, with only one exception, the 1975 FA
Cup 5th Round success there. Every PL match there has been a
home win for Everton so far.

That was always Bournemouth's role in the FL! Welcome to the
world of being a 'little' club ;)
