       The first class walk

       While we continue to wait patiently for the return of first
       class cricket, the first class umpires have been preparing for
       any cricketing action by undertaking a mammoth walk. They are
       hoping to combine a total walk of over 9,400 miles, the
       equivalent of walking from Old Trafford to Lahore and back!! All
       proceeds raised will be shared between the PCA benevolent trust,
       Prostate cancer and the British Asian trust. Truly fantastic
       effort from them - you can follow their progress via the first
