It's been mental down here. Grockles everywhere as you have seen
on the news! Us locals are all barricaded in their homes trying
to stay away from them. The illegal parking, oh man. Bumper to
bumper down both sides of the road, all over the pavements and
even just dumped in the middle of roads. Absolute nightmare for
the locals and more importantly our emergency services.

33 tons of rubbish on the beaches for someone to clear up, or so
I'm told :'(

It took a team of 6 people 5 hours to clear just 600m of beach
somewhere in Sussex. Teams of volunteers were out since 4am
with council staff here locally trying to get it all cleaned up
again . The beach not as busy today but still way too many
people out there - I'm staying indoors again as are all my
neighbours!!

Yes a good advantage, but... am I expecting too much, shouldn't
he be seeing/giving the handball when he was in a good position?
and not relying on VAR

What a sad indictment of the "modern game".
Cheating footballers, compliant referees and spineless
administrators are turning the game into a shadow of its former
self.

I think Paul Tierney was trying to make it non contact today,
seeming to blow if there was any contact, not helped with
numerous players going down poleaxed at any opportunity.

I certainly would not disagree with that assessment. There were
31 free kicks awarded in the match and I would estimate that a
quarter of those were very 'dodgy' The one he gave against Fleck
near the end of the game was ridiculous. I also agree that many
players do not help the situation with their antics, however,
just where is the game going?
