Do we think that the use of AARs will continue in the Europa
League next year/elsewhere or was last night their final outing?

I'm presuming that they will go now & be the VAR refs instead as
VAR will be in full use.

Pretty sure I read that VAR is going to be in the group stage of
the UCL next season but only from the knockouts of the UEL?

Yes, I don't think VAR is being used for most of Europa League
next season - but VAR isn't used in the Euro 2020 qualifiers and
they have dropped AARs for them anyway.

That's a lot of VARs! Presumably the Champions League will have
similar?

I presume Skomina for the CL final now.

Can someone enlighten me as to the differing duties of the VAR
Assistants to the Offside VAR? What would the VAR Assistants be
looking at that the Offside one wouldn't? ???

Everything! If the offside VAR sees an offside and starts to
check it from all angles before informing the ref, the
assistants continue to monitor everything else including
offsides while he is concentrating on that one. That was the
case when there were less of them. Perhaps they also monitor
from different angles? It's mainly to stop anything being missed
when one of them is checking & rechecking something from all the
angles available.
