       [/quote]
Yeah there were about 100 odd ultras behind each goal who didn't
bother with the whole social distancing at the Kupa final! The
other 10,000 at the game who were sat down each side of the
       pitch however did, mostly.
Observed in all the non ultras sectors again today. The ultra
sectors well, as with the cup final it was non existent!
Actually that's unfair, the Paks ultras were ace with it and oh
my were they loud! 2 young ladies with drums, 5/6 seats apart
and they did not stop. The other 5 sets of ultras however
       completely ignored it.

Exactly the same, 1,000%! I've been unwavering in my views that
human life is worth way more than a Premier League title, and
have been vocal in my thoughts that Liverpool should have been
awarded the title long before the stage we're at now. The fact
you think I'd be any different if my team we're top of the

Given the extensive testing regime being undertaken, we are
obviously past the 'human life' argument ... the EPL matches
will be safer than going to the supermarket, park etc.
Which brings us to the competition integrity argument. On that
point, whilst the tweaks to the playing conditions are
unhelpful, it still seems way more 'in the spirit of the game'
to complete the season on the pitch rather than just 'fill in
the gaps' of the unplayed games with some version of PPG?

It wasn’t meant to be crass, it was a genuine question, because
some football fans and clubs are being particularly selfish at

And that is my concern. If thousands can be allowed to crowd
together unchallenged to protest this weekend (and I've no views

Did you see the sheer volume of people crowded on beaches over
the bank holiday weekend? The damage was done well before this
weekend, in all honesty. Our local R rate has gone up to over 1
as a result. If they didn't enforce large volumes of people
congregating whilst the lockdown was still supposedly in full
force, they're not going to do it now.

Such is the intrinsic selfishness of some people that they are
unable/unwilling to see that this isn't just a gamble they are
taking with their own health. It is reckoned that perhaps over
50% of people contract Covid 19 asymptomatically. I can just
hear the moronic argument of " I went to a crowded beach, joined
a protest etc and didn't catch anything and remain perfectly
well " while said individual has transmitted the disease to
someone who then fights for their life in hospital.
I am sure everything possible good protocol has been put in
place to start professional football but if there is a
transmission this way and somebody gets very sick, or perish the
thought, a worse outcome, then there will be a rush on the part
of those who took the decision to find a hiding place and say '
       not my fault'

That was the big difference between issuing guidelines and
expecting/trusting people to use common sense & bringing in
       laws!
When Hungary was still in full lock down the only people you saw
on the streets were the Rendőrség and military. If you were
dumb enough to step outside your front door they were on you in
seconds! People weren't dumb enough because the Rendőrség
are not a nice cuddly police force like the UK ones are. I like
the Rendőrség myself and have never had a problem with them
at all but they look very scary. Key workers had to have an
official confirmation email for every shift they worked, if they
worked late they would have to get one authorising them to
travel home at a different time, you had to have an official
email granting you permission to go to the shop for essential
foods/medicines etc. They bought in laws not guidelines, it has
been relaxed to a mix of them now and Mr Orbán has announced the
plan to lift the state of emergency is being worked on and will
start to be implemented over the next few weeks, assuming there
is no second wave or a spike in numbers.
Other countries using laws not guidelines were also more
successful regarding lockdown compliance. Guidelines alone will
only work with the majority, there is a minority who think they
don't apply to them and the police were put in an impossible
situation, they can enforce laws but they can only advise
       guidelines be followed.
