It wasn't on social media, it was a private message via snapchat
(I think) to a so called friend, who then used it to hang him
       out to dry!

My apologies. When I said he should not be allowed back in this
Country I meant to the world of football refereeing not ban him
       from the UK.

Very true, bmb, I am so used to things being said on 'social
media' that I got carried away! Thank you for the correction

Irrespective of the fact I did not think he was a top ref before
he was sacked. He did wrong and was punished. IMO he should not
have been allowed back in this Country as a FL ref. No doubt he
will be fast tracked back to the PL. If he was sacked from most
other professions. Would he have been allowed back. Absolutely
NOT. Therefore he should not have been allowed back here. A very
       poof decision .
       >
       --- End Quote ---
Had he been sacked from any other job in these circumstances I
have little doubt that he would have taken legal action against
the manifestly excessive and draconian sanction and won .
Perhaps this was not lost on those who have nw decided to take
the CORRECT action. Welcome back bobby

I agree entirely. I wonder too whether another quite well-known
ref who suddenly disappeared off the scene for unknown reasons a
few seasons back will also be welcomed back?

As a mere supporter who has never had an axe to grind with
Bobby Madley and was sympathetic to his plight, will he ever
find his way back to Select Group in years to come ?

       Just asking the question.

If he puts in good performances consistently, I think he will
return to at least SG2, maybe SG1.

As long as his promotion (or otherwise) is determined solely on
merit, I don't think there should be any argument about that.
