I'm not sure there will be, at least not outside of refereeing
circles. If anything I'd suspect it would be after the game,
can't see them wanting to heap attention on him before the game
with any kind of publicity or presentation.

Indeed, congratulations to both Darren England and Philip
Dermott on their PL debuts.
Decent games for Pawson and Attwell. Not sure Pawson deserves
this match but I wish him well nevertheless. As for Attwell, he
seems to have had a solid season so a decent reward!

About time he’s only been on the SG1 list since 2008! Should
never have been promoted to SG1 anyway, even more so on the
second occasion! I don’t have much faith in him having a good
game anyway.

Indeed... Attwekk or Attwell (hehe) hasn't had a big what you
would call a derby/ top 6 ( usually in the case of these clubs)
game since he did a Newcastle v Sunderland in his early tenure
on the SG under the tutelage of a certain Lord Elleray.

I'm surprised that Mr Pawson gets the game of the weekend, he
doesn't seem to have been one of the better SG1 referees this
season.
Good that Mr England gets a top-flight outing.
Mr Dermott didn't impress on 4O duties in the Rovers v
Peterborough game, hope that his Prem AR debut shows him in a
better light.

Oh jeez. If they're planning to do a pre-match presentation for
Mike Dean's 500th, I think there are 19 other PL grounds he'll
get a better reception at than the Emirates...!
Ian Hussin also seems to be on back-to-back Arsenal games.
Interesting to see Attwell get the reverse that Pawson had,
given the problems he had.

I Highly Doubt they’ll Do Anything tbh, they haven’t done so for
any other referee milestone. It Will Probably just get a Brief
mention on The Commentary at most.
I’m also surprised Attwell got a london derby, I’m Not A Huge
Fan of Attwells so i shall watch with both skepticism and hope
that he has a good game.

Pretty sure there was some kind of pre-match presentation for
Andre Marriner when he refereed his 300th PL game at
Huddersfield V Man City last season.
