Let's hope Attwell has a much better game than the last time I
saw him at the Etihad.
Even thought C Kavanagh isn't in the PL, huge game in the
Championship. No surprise to see Oliver on the Spurs game
either.

If Simon Hooper is injured and unable to ref at PL level, as
suggested in the media, then what's he doing as 4O at AFCB? His
laboured running at Blackpool last weekend in L1 looked
embarrassing, and I can only imagine what will happen if Craig
Pawson has to come off the AFCB game at any stage! >:(

Maybe the article which you described as 'accurate' was, in
fact, not accurate?

why have a ref promoted if he is injured?why is he still doing
football league games and not doing pep games its a bit weird to

I would certainly be content to see A Madley in SG1 but not
enthusiastic about Robinson. Rather I would put in Rob Jones and
Darren Bond and give some consideration to Peter Bankes

Point taken. However I stand by my view that Hooper didn't seem
fit enough to ref in L1 last weekend, so I hope Pawson doesn't
pull up in the warm up today at AFCB
Short journey for Marriner at Wolves. I wonder if this is a
first League visit to Wolves for Andre and whether he would have
got this fixture if the PL refereeing system was not in such a
mess (OK, postcode is presumably not the same but still v local)

No it's not. He has refereed Wolves on 7 previous occasions.

Does anybody know why Graham Scott has been replaced this
weekend? I hope it its an injury it isnt serious - SG1 is down
to the bare bones as it is!
