Hendo I wish you would just say what you think instead of
sitting on the fence ;)
Whatever we think of Peyper - his suspension is in my opinion
unwarranted, I can see why some may have a problem with it but
it was clearly just a joke and in my opinion 'personality'
referees are a good thing once they don't want to be stars on
the pitch.

I gather he has acknowledged the error of his ways and
apologised. Whether this is the last we hear remains to be seen
but, at least, it was a naive thing to do. Reports elsewhere
also suggest he wasn’t considered for either of the semis which
I think is more a reflection of his ability/ suitability than a
punishment for this indiscretion.
Make no secret of the fact that I think he is overrated and can
at times baffle with his decision making.

Incredibly foolish and calls into question his sense of
judgement. Good grounds for overlooking him for the rest of the
tournament though I have a suspicion if South Africa progess to
the Final he may get the rather meaningless 3rd/4th match
