Utterly disgraceful behaviour from the racist
thugs/idiots/trolls/poor specimens of human life or whatever you
call these so called people.
Good to see the UEFA protocol being used, however I don't see
this game lasting 90 mins.

I still see the England fans like to sing “No Surrender” during
the National Anthem towards the end there.
But guaranteed that’ll be glossed over totally by the English
media

Has Mr Bebek been watching the Rugby World Cup? Letting
advantage go slightly longer before pulling it back, I like it,
others may not.

I did notice that, perhaps on the borderline but it worked
really well.
I thought he controlled the game really well in what was
obviously a very difficult environment.

For me Bebek used to court controversy but in last few seasons
he’s mellowed and become a really good referee I hope Utd get
him in the EL this season

Glad they didn’t go off as that solves absolutely diddly squat!
The only way to solve this issue is criminal charges including
prison and points continued points deductions for culprit
teams/countries. Final step would be being thrown out of said
competition and continued expulsion until racism removed from
countries culture!
And that includes England as well, who also have a lot of racist
thugs but this goes unreported in the British press!

Racist behaviour during a game in which Bulgaria is already
serving sanctions for the same thing? They have already had
their warning so should now face expulsion from all
international competitions for a significant period. As Greg
Clarke suggested, there needs to be a full investigation mainly
to determine what steps the Bulgarian FA took to deal with
their problem in this game but with such a small attendance it
shouldn't have been difficult to have sufficient stewards and
police in the stadium to nip such behaviour in the bud and
immediately remove the culprits. It certainly shouldn't be down
to the England management and team, all of whom behaved
impeccably and with dignity, to have to complain to the match
officials before any action was taken. The referee did what he
could but it is asking a lot of match officials to keep an eye
(and an ear) on the crowd as well as their football duties.

The despicable behavior shown by the Bulgarian Ultras is
something which Uefa cannot go on responding to in it's usual
supine way. These racists are beneath contempt and all racist
presence at matches must be eliminated as a priority. I suspect
the only sanction which might work is elimination from
competitions. Very hard luck on genuine supporters but desperate
situations call for desperate remedies.
Some positivity though in the performance, handling this
extremely difficult situation, by referee Ivan Bebek. This is
what Henter Winter writes in today's Times " Even Uefa's sudden
adherence to a three-step protocol, putting all the onus on the
referee, the excellent, conscientious Ivan Bebel of Croatia,
felt totally inadequate "
