I would agree. I would also agree that it is the faintest of
faint praise.
For all his lack of authority at Portman Road, Toner was at
least getting the majority of decisions right - unlike Ross
joyce.
More worrying is the that that the powers that be considered
Joyce to be worthy of not one but two matches at Wembley last
season whereas plenty of better officials got none.

I concur m'learned friend. Quite why the 'powers that be' were
pushing Joyce so hard, including the two Wembley appearances, is
something which they know but I do not. I fully expected to see
Joyce as a SG2 official at the beginning of this season and was
surprised when he wasn't given the jump up.
