How will Deal Town FC do this season?

How will Deal do, what do you see?
Would they be happy to stay in this league?
Would promotion be a step too far?
Would getting to the play-offs be a good sign for the future for
       the club?

Survival is the number one priority this season! ;D
"Mid table mediocrity", or just one place above the relegation
"drop zone" will be good enough for this year. One thing the
club does not want to do, is to be relegated, after such a
successful season last year. The gaffer(being realistic) has
already said in the press(and on KOL),don't expect as many wins
this year, as last. It will be tougher.
I don't think the ground is good enough (at the moment) to be
deemed worthy of ground regulations for the Premier Division.
They're still doing work at the moment, to get it fit for Div.1
standards! I've seen (and heard) of teams, in the past, that
although they have won the league, they have not been promoted,
due to the ground not being up to scratch!
Promotion and playoffs? We need to walk before we can run! ;D
Anyway, aren't the 'Git going up as champs? ;)

I understand what you are saying Phil, I just thought you would
       have some inside info.
Mid table would be good I agree.
Is the ground grading on the number of seats only? and just how
       has M.F.C got the grading
after having Potatoes growing at the far end for so long;D
One things for sure both the Rams & Deal will have the highest
       attendances.
Give the title now to the Dark-side, talking to a couple in town
they think they will walk the league.

I've answered my own question, I've been looking at ground
grading, there is quite a lot to go through for all the clubs.

With Dover being related, if they do well this season, if Dover
and Deal have home fixtures on the same day, where will Dover
supporters go? Deal attendances might go down.

On the other hand Bill, if Dover are having a poor season then
their supporters may be going to Deal ;D

I think the seeds were sown when Covid was around and Dover were
forced to play "behind closed doors" but Deal COULD play with a
"reduced percentage" gate(the Rams were the same). A few of
their fans(still wanting to get their footy fix) came and saw
Deal and found out it was friendlier, cheaper and the team
actually won a few games! ;D Those people still came last year.
NOBODY from Deal would go and watch a Dover game! That's almost
as bad as some from Ramsgate watching the 'Git! ;D
I think, that with the success that Deal enjoyed in the last
couple of years, interest in the town has grown,(they had three
four figure crowds last year), with an average of just over 600.
There's a few teams in the Isthmian Premier and the Conference
South that would be happy with that!
Obviously, if the team "bombed" and ended up in the relegation
zone, the gates would drop and a few might go back to watching
Dover(but not at their prices though! :o)
I would like to think that, with being promoted, Deal would see
a few more visiting fans. After all, there's quite a few Kent
derbies , such as the Rams, the Bay and Hythe for example, to
       "swell the coffers" 8)
