Whatever happens at the end of the season, Deal have a great
chance to at least get into the play-offs.
If they did get promoted would there have to be any ground
improvements at all?

From what I've been told, ground is Isthmian standard. Lights
are up to standard.
3 parts covered(main stand and cover behind both goals). As
you've been there in the past, you'll know about the covered end
at the top end of the ground, by the turnstiles but now a " bus
shelter", similar to the one at HDP, is now at the bottom end of
the ground.
Additional tea hut/ bar now on the stand side of the ground now
up and running.

Thanks for that info. A nice ground probably a lot better than
some higher league grounds.
Perhaps a plastic pitch in the future?

It's been talked about but the thing that would kill it dead
is.... the cost!
People are saying for less than the cost of a 3g pitch, a really
decent drainage system could be installed and it wouldnt need
replacing after about 10 yrs or so, like a plastic pitch would!

Oh yes the cost is high, they would have to rent it out like the
Rams do to bring in the revenue.

use mainly by the club John. Veterans (walking football) use it
on a Weds, now of course Minster at times. Cannot think of
anyone else at the moment

juniors. Think they get a bit from them. Saves money in not
paying for other grounds
