That's a real shame and so unusual for Deal.
Don't make good reading in Kentish Football.
Need to stuff MFC tomorrow whatever happens at Ashford.

So, do you want to be in a cup final, or do you want to have
home advantage in a play off game, with the possibility of
       getting promoted?

A difficult one that, stuff MFC big time, then Rams will be on a
       high for the Ashford game.

sooner lose to Margate and win at Ashford IMO. Need second spot
in the league. Playoffs are on a Tues and Fri!!

       Thanks for that info Bill.
If we beat Ashford, then I think it's home advantage for the
play off(semi final) game. If we win THAT, then it's home
advantage for the play off final, as I believe the team that
finishes in the highest league position gets to play at home.

Not the result we all really wanted, a Red card didn't help.
So Bill & Phil what is your take on the game please.

Great crowd there , 1481! Had to queue for 15 mins or so. KO
was put back to 8.00pm. Up until the sending off, pretty even
going. All I saw was both players go to head the ball and the
next thing you know, they're both on the deck flat out, not
moving. Both physios run onto the pitch and whilst that was
happening, a 'Git player started having a go at the ref, who
promptly booked him. When Kane was getting up, after being
treated, the ref flashed the red at him! Quite a few of the team
       couldn't believe it!
Once you're in the situation of 11 versus 10, then you know ,
somehow, it would take a miracle to hang on for another 80 mins
       or more.
They took the lead(which I thought was a fluke), when a cross
went into the top corner. I expect the ' Git will say it was a
wonderful shot! Second goal was a mistake by the centre half
(Fitchett?), who I do consider to be the weak link in the
defence. Once he was robbed, cross was put into the box and the
guy scored around the 6yd line. The third goal was a classy one.
Cross came in and was hit on the volley, giving the keeper no
       chance.
I thought the Rams would cave in, especially as the keeper made
a couple of great saves to keep the score down but to their
credit, they battled away and scored a good goal, when Pax put a
cross in and TJ scored with a header at the back post. For a
short while after, they played some good footy and should have
scored a second, when a cross came in from the right and
Carvalho put it over the top, when it seemed easier to score,
especially as it seemed there was no one marking him. If that
had gone in, to make it 3-2, then I think it might have been
interesting, especially as 4 mins came up on the board.
No disgrace in losing, especially playing with a man down.
They(the 'Git) put out a pretty strong side last night. Let's
face it, their season's over for them. The final is all they
       had to play for.
The Rams were caught in two minds. Final or play offs?
Bigger fish to fry on Saturday! Let's hope for a win and a game
       on Tuesday night at home.

Many thanks for that report Phil.
As you know I would have loved to have been there to see all the
new editions to their ground. (a tin of Blue paint)
Onto Saturday and a good win by the Rams, please ;D
