spoke to a Dover supporter at the game. Said when they had a
good preseason friendly - did bad in the league. Bad friendles
and did good in the league - so promotion this year? :)

Saw this on the MFC Facebook page:
My Jack wanted to re-join Margate and I am sure you will
remember his energy and tenacity when he played. The club made
him such a derisory offer that he turned it down, as he would
almost be paying to play. So he joined Ramsgate who are paying
him a fair renumeration, not a fortune by any means. I think
that was a poor decision by Andy as he missed out on a hard
working player that the fans enjoyed watching.

He was playing for the Bay last year, who got promoted. I think
he scored in the play off final.
So, how does a SCEFL team grab a player from a team playing
Isthmian Premier football!? Did TC have a word with him? I
can't imagine Deal paying more than Herne Bay! I think he's a
local lad, so the travelling might have suited him more in the
SCEFL!?
Whatever the reason, it's a good signing IMO
