If you go onto the RFC Twitter page, there's a video of the
first goal. 8)
Listen out for the siren! ;D

Nice one Phil, also some of the pics, not seen crowds like that
for years.
I remember the days when 200 plus was deemed a good gate. The
gate average this season must be late hundreds.

Yes, the good old days, as you say, when 200 was "good"
So, are they new fans, or old ones that have come back to watch,
now that the team are doing well and that the ground's had
improvements? ( Apart from Olive, who seems to have been there
forever! ;D)
Lets face it, we must have tripled the gates in the last couple
of years or so! Perhaps they could be some old 'Git fans who
are getting fed up!?

Margate supporters want to see what a proper ground look like,
they've not had that feeling since they knocked down the old
wooden stand ;D
Should be a good gate at Deal tonight, are you going Phil?

Yep, I was there.
407 was the attendance 8) Although it ended 0-0, it wasn't a
boring game. Both teams in the league have the best defensive
record, so a draw was on the books even before we kicked off.
Chatham had a guy sent off about half way through the 2nd half
and I thought that Deal might nick it but they seemed to put
everyone behind the ball and adopted a" they shall not pass"
attitude, which meant that if the likes of TC went by a player,
he was brought down ,either by that player of one of his team
mates >:(
I lost track of the number of free kicks, "talking tos" and
bookings!
The last ten minutes was a bit like "attack against defence" (or
the Alamo ;D), where they were just glad to clear it and hold
out against another attack, when Deal regained possession.

Shame they couldn't nick a goal at the end >:( still a good
result against a top team in that league.
