Quite an easy win for the Rams today against the Oysters. TJ
scored a cracker after about 5 mins and we were a little unlucky
not to score a couple more in the first half. Two quick goals in
the 2nd half, within 5 mins of each other really took the wind
out of the Oysters sails. When they scored the 4th shortly
afterwards, I wondered how many more they would get but they
took their foot of the gas and made some substitutions,
obviously to rest some for Mondays' game against Ashford.
Good contingent from the Rams today in the crowd(given as 579).
Almost like a spring day, watching the game! :o

No, they seemed to be a little chilled yesterday, probably due
to the weed being smoked under that old stand of theirs! You
could smell it on the halfway line. I saw one of their familiar
faces( unfortunately I couldn't remember his name) but he was
the guy that had the white staffy/ pit bull as his avatar on
their forum.
Finally. Bill. I saw your comment on the Supporters FB Page
about it "should have been five". As I was by the gate at the
end of the game, ready to get the train station, I saw the Rams
"score" their 5th but it was disallowed. What was that for?
Offside? Foul?

Was watching the Rams today.
Great crowd, good win. First half, we were lucky not to be one
down, when an absolute rocket from one of the Bay players hit
the bar in the last minute of the 1st half. Ten minutes after
half time, Rams scored when a corner( which I thought was dog
dirt when it was taken! ;D), went all along the ground to the
front post, where the guy on the post and the keeper decided to
play "After you, no after you" and before you knew it, it had
trickled into the bottom of the net, in the far corner! :o
What followed reminded me of the bad old days of the 70s ::)
Rams fans ran all the way to the bottom end to goad the Bay mob
and scuffles broke out! Security, stewards and even players
jumping over the fences to stop it. An announcement came over
the PA said, if it continued, Plod would be called and the game
abandoned!
After the restart, the Bay looked for an equaliser but were
undone, when from their corner, they lost possession, the ball
was played to the wing, where he ran from the halfway line, cut
into the box and when the keeper came out to narrow the angle,
it was squared to " you know who ;)" and he side footed it in to
an empty goal!
At the end of the game, the Rams fans were locked in, allowing
the Bay fans to leave the ground! I thought it should have been
the other way round! Didn't get home until five to six >:(

She wasn't in herself!
I had to make a cup of tea for myself, take my own shoes off and
place my slippers on the radiator! ::)
Not good enough!
