I see from their website, that for their friendlies, they're
expecting people to get tickets by odering ONLINE!
Don't they ever learn? ::) Tickets for friendlies? :o
When they tried to go down that route, attendances for league
games dropped! What about the supporters that don't have that
option?
I hope the Rams aren't going to do that!

not sure, but think there was talk abut using a debit card etc,
with no maximum (hopefully), no need to buy in advance????

Well the Rams have copied them with the plastic pitch.
Personally if I can't pay at the gate with either cash or card
then I probably won't be going.

The only thing I can see this NOT being the case,is that if
Boris and his crew state that if "Non Elite" football can only
let in a percentage of their ground capacity, (like last year
where the capacity allowed was 400 at the Rams), then every
game(whether it be league or cup competition), would be
classified as "ALL TICKET" and if you didn't have a ticket for
that game, you didn't get in to watch it. Obviously, these
tickets would be on a "1st come, 1st served" basis. I would like
to think that the club would not only sell them online but would
be open , say one or two evenings in the week, for people to
call in, if they haven't got the facility to order online.
I would hope that the club would not issue season tickets this
year, if that were the case, as it would give everybody a fair
chance to see a game.

at the moment, believe, if you had season tickets last year, get
a new one free for this season. Believe last season, ticket
season holders was a small amount, so maximum was deducted from
that total, then the rest was alloccated for online, buy at gate
etc etc. Hopefully that will not be the case. Long time until
Julyf or the opening of the 3g pitch game (1st home game).
With the 3g pitch construction, no working bees, so have not
heard any rumors etc.

So what was the average gate for the past Two Seasons, 170 -200.
So where is this 400 coming from, 200 from the kids getting for
free is all wrong IMO.
Us older supporters need to turn up and pay at the gate, not
have to make a special trip to buy a ticket in the week.
Finally most of these kids don't watch the match, they just run
around making a nuisance while the genuine supporters try to
watch the game.

These are the figures: 2019-2020 Average Gate 201
2018-2019 Average Gate 211
Sorry to say this but 400 is b******s

let's hope there's no maximum - get 500 plus. Kids get in free
from their payment into the youth teams, one parent gets in
free. They spend on drinks etc, so club gets quite a bit of
money from them. As you say though. need to help the older
supporters to get in when there's a maximum. Fingers crossed!!

So the club is only interested in money and not the loyalty of
their supporters.

Hey, don't shoot the messenger![emoji6]
400 was laid down by the FA(under instructions, as from the 31st
August). As Ramsgate are "Step4", this was mentioned in the
attached. Deal (in Step5) had a max. of 300(which under the
circumstances) proved more than enough.
